Brooks Derrick

Hi. I’m Brooks Derrick. I’m a lawyer, a nerd when it comes to technology, and I love people.

I believe that people deserve a lawyer that thoroughly explains things and keeps them completely informed. If you ever have any questions about your case, I will always take the time to talk to you and give you an honest and candid assessment of where things stand.

I’m not only a personal injury lawyer, but I’ve also been an injured client.

In 2014, I experienced what so many of my clients experience — the humiliation of getting hurt.

I slipped and fell on a flight of stairs. The lighting was terrible; the stairs were wet, and about half-way down, my feet went out from under me. I landed hard on my back, and the impact caused a cascade of problems, both short-term and long-term.

I understand what you are going through.

In the days after the fall, the pain was intense, and I missed a lot of work. But as the initial shock (and embarrassment) subsided, the pain and symptoms worsened.

I couldn’t stand or even sit for long periods. My only relief was lying on the couch.

The doctors finally diagnosed me with cervical radiculopathy, commonly referred to as a pinched nerve, and we set up a plan for treatment and recovery.

Over the next eight months, I focused on getting better. I received epidural injections, went to my follow-up appointments, and struggled through my physical therapy sessions.

Ultimately, I was able to recover, but it was a long and challenging process. My amazing wife and I scrambled to figure out how to juggle work, bills, and my treatment. But with the help of my friends, family members, lawyers, doctors, and an incredible physical therapist, I was able to regain my strength and get back on my feet.

I want to help you get through your difficult time.

Let me help you through this process. I have been in your shoes. Let me be the reliable, responsible, and compassionate lawyer that guides you through this.

Call me. We can put together a custom plan to help you put your life back together. I’ve done it for myself and hundreds of clients, and we can do it for you.
